THIS IS A CD RELEASE PARTY FOR JENNY BIRD
Jenny is the perfect cross-over songstress – Folk to Jazz Standards
Jenny Bird has been called “the most passionate performer in the new folk genre”. The stage is her second home where she’s been presenting her original songs since the age of 10. Professionally managed as a teenager, Jenny lived and recorded in Germany and Belgium.
For the last twenty years, she has toured widely and consistently. She is well respected at home - Taos, New Mexico - where she teaches music, records, and has been the recipient of the 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003 People’s Choice Award for Best Folk Music.
Jenny has provided production assistance and vocals on dozens of recordings including Warner Brothers demos as well as writing for film and TV
